Everyone at Billingsley church would like to thank the hardworking Caring for God’s Acre volunteers who came today and made such a difference in our churchyard, despite the snow! Their next visit is on Tuesday 12th July, hope the weather is better then!
The Caring for God’s Acre volunteers are visiting Billingsley Church on Tuesday 26th April. They’ll be helping to maintain our beautiful churchyard by scything the wildflower area and repairing a section of fence. Do come along and join in - there’ll be plenty of tea and cake!
Billingsley Church has installed a new rainwater harvesting system to gather rainwater for use in the church. The harvested water is cleaned using an ultraviolet light, so that it is drinkable. Following a building project overseen by our Diocesan appointed architect, Billingsley church now has a fully accessible WC and a small kitchen area.
