Lychgate May 2020

As you may expect the planned May visit to St Mary’s by the Caring for God’s Acre team had to be postponed due to Covid 19. Fortunately the grass in the churchyard requires minimal work at the time of year as wild flowers are in their prime and will be setting seed soon. If anyone has a keen interest in wild flowers there is a perfect opportunity¬† to carry out a much needed wild flower survey here at St Mary’s. If you are interested don’t hesitate to get in touch via the email page for further information. Caring for God’s Acre Visit

The Caring for God’s Acre volunteers are visiting Billingsley Church on Tuesday 26th April. They’ll be helping to maintain our beautiful churchyard by scything the wildflower area and repairing a section of fence. Do come along and join in – there’ll be plenty of tea and cake!
