As you may expect the planned May visit to St Mary’s by the Caring for God’s Acre team had to be postponed due to Covid 19. Fortunately the grass in the churchyard requires minimal work at the time of year as wild flowers are in their prime and will be setting seed soon. If anyone has a keen interest in wild flowers there is a perfect opportunity to carry out a much needed wild flower survey here at St Mary’s. If you are interested don’t hesitate to get in touch via the email page for further information. Thank you to the Caring for God’s Acre volunteers
Everyone at Billingsley church would like to thank the hardworking Caring for God’s Acre volunteers who came today and made such a difference in our churchyard, despite the snow! Their next visit is on Tuesday 12th July, hope the weather is better then!
Caring for God’s Acre Visit
The Caring for God’s Acre volunteers are visiting Billingsley Church on Tuesday 26th April. They’ll be helping to maintain our beautiful churchyard by scything the wildflower area and repairing a section of fence. Do come along and join in – there’ll be plenty of tea and cake!
