Harvest Festival Service – Sunday 15th September 6.00pm

We look at the link between harvest festival and the moon landings 50 years ago… Hymns and readings, with refreshments afterwards. Donations of harvest produce to decorate the church are welcome; please bring them to the church at any convenient time before the service. The collection will be split between the church and “Send a cow to Africa”, a charity that provides dairy cows to communities in Africa so that they can have a regular source of fresh milk.

The harvest produce will be left in the church for anyone to help themselves; please give a donation if you are able, which we will put towards “Send a Cow”. Remaining food will be donated to the Bridgnorth Food Bank.

Harvest at Billingsley Church

Sunday 9th October 6pm is the Billingsley Harvest Festival. This’ll also be our last sing along Sunday of the year, and also Zoe’s last service as organist. We’ll be singing lots of lovely Harvest hymns, and there’ll be wine, hot drinks and plenty of cake too! Come along, have a good sing, and say thank you. We’d love to see you there!

Harvest Appeal 2013

Parishioners were extremely supportive of our Harvest Appeal for donations for the Bridgnorth Foodbank. Zoe and Rebecca (Church Wardens) delivered the items to the foodbank on Monday 21st October, and are pictured at the foodbank with volunteer Kate as she was processing the Billingsley donations. Thanks to everyone who supported this year’s appeal.

Harvest Festival 2012

Here’s a picture of our two churchwardens with Phil Simpson from the Oswestry & Borders Food Bank. Today we delivered the food donations from Billingsley Harvest Festival. In the last few months the amount of food distributed by the foodbank in Oswestry has doubled, so thank you to everyone who gave food, your donations will really help others in need.
