The August service will be held at 6pm on Sunday 12th when the talk will focus on “God and the Miner”. As usual there will be lots of well known hymns and refreshments too, so do come and join us!

Another “Evenings at Billingsley” – July 8th
The July service, at 6pm, continues our series looking at different styles of Evening Prayer. The focus this month is on the Book of Common Prayer service. As usual there will be lots of well known hymns and refreshments too, so do come and join us!
Next “Evenings at Billingsley” – June 17th
The June service will be held at 6pm on 17th June when we will hold a Celtic style service followed by refreshments and a time to chat. Please do come and join us.

An Easter Communion Service will be held in the church at 8am on Sunday 1st April 2018.

2018 “Evenings at Billingsley”
The informal services each month are going to have a new title – “Evenings at Billingsley”. There will still be the opportunity to come and sing lots of familiar and well loved hymns and there will be a different focus each month, exploring the many varied forms of evening worship used in the Church of England. The first of these services will be on 11 March 2018 at 6pm when will celebrate Mothering Sunday and explore its roots in the celebartion of “mother church”. Do come and join us for the service and some refreshments afterwards.
BBQ and Harvest Sing Along – 10th September
Come and celebrate Harvest with Songs of Praise in the church at 6pm on Sunday 10th September. The service will include a short talk by David Poyner on the history of farming in Billingsley.
The service will be preceded by a BBQ at the Old Post Office Billinglsey from 2.30 – 5.30pm. Tickets are available from Bonnie (552567) or St Mary’s Church Highley and are priced at £5 (adult) and £2.50 (child).

April Sing Along and APCM
The April Sing Along Service at 6pm on Sunday 9th April will be followed by the Annual Parochial Church Meeting at 7.15pm.
Please do come along to enjoy singing some well known Easter hymns and a talk by David Poyner ‘Answering the Call’, followed by refreshments. The Annual Meeting will provide an opportunity to look back at the past year and more importantly look towards the future.
