Do come and join us for our Christmas Carol Service and an opportunity to sing some much loved carols. The service will be followed by some festive refreshments and time to chat so do come and join us.
There will be a simple Act of Remembrance on the grass between the main road and Lincoln Fields to remember all those who have given their lives in the service of this country since 1914. It will begin at 10.45am, with readings, music and prayers, ending just after the two minute silence at 11.00am.
At our 6pm evening service this month we will be looking towards the 100th anniversary of the ending of the First World War. All four churches in the Benefice are joining together for a family Holy Communion Service in the church this Sunday. We also celebrate and give thanks for the 40 years the Reverend Mike Harris has served in ministry since his ordination on 1st October 1978. Please do come and join us.
Please pop into church at any time this afternoon, between 2pm and 4pm, to enjoy a cup of tea, a slice of cake and a chat. There will be a display of photos about farming in and around Billingsley. All welcome and no charge, though any donations are gratefully received!
